KNAPP Wins 2024 Logistics Brand Competition

Austrian international weekly magazine VERKEHR has been awarding leading companies from the logistics sector every year for the past seven years. This year, the sought-after prize went to technology company KNAPP, which came out on top after advancing to the finals against Jungheinrich. The award ceremony took place at the headquarters of the Austrian Automobile, Motorcycle and Touring Club (ÖAMTC) in Vienna.

The prize honors outstanding achievements and innovations in the logistics sector. A new brand is awarded every year, with 2024 focusing on automation. The Logistics Brand winners are voted on by the Verkehr brand committee and online by the readers of the international weekly magazine, with each group’s vote contributing equally toward the result. The companies taking part in the competition submitted their application for the Logistics Brand 2024 based on a method developed by the market research and consulting firm Marketmind. To assess the reputation of each brand, the companies were asked to answer two questions in six categories, namely “Management and Leadership”, “Trustworthiness”, “Corporate Social Responsibility”, “Products and Services”, “Financial Situation” and “The Company as an Employer”. The brand committee of the international weekly magazine Verkehr evaluated all the applications and chose the two best competitors.

KNAPP, a leading provider of intelligent automation solutions for warehouse logistics, supplies technologies across all dimensions of the value chain – from storage systems to artificial intelligence, robotics and software. The company boasts stability, customer-centricity and continuous development, which convinced the committee and voters to award them the prize. The award is a testimony to their leadership in the sector and their position as a reliable value chain tech partner and pioneer in developing future-oriented logistics solutions.

“The award honors the commitment demonstrated by our entire team. It is an acknowledgment of our brand’s reliability and customer-centricity and motivates us to continue to be a strong partner for our customers and to develop innovative solutions based on our industry expertise, vision and sensibility for changes in the business,” says KNAPP CEO Gerald Hofer.
