Skandi Network joins Pharma.Aero

Skandi Network, the first European active temperature-controlled distribution network focusing 100% on healthcare products, has joined Pharma.Aero as an associate partner. Founded in January 2022, Skandi Network combines the capabilities and know-how of leading domestic GDP specialists in 28 countries who all have strong expertise in active temperature-controlled transport and distribution of pharmaceutical and life care products.

Operating across Europe, from the UK to Turkey and from Poland to Portugal, the network has a fleet of 4,780 temperature-controlled vehicles, 10 strategic regional consolidation platforms and 165 temperature-controlled depots. Skandi Network members transport more than 14.7 million temperature-controlled shipments annually and employ more than 5,000 people, ensuring that essential pharmaceutical and life support products are delivered safely and efficiently.

Cross-border colli and pallet groupage shipments are managed via Skandi 360°, the network’s digital collaboration platform, creating a unique transport ecosystem. The platform is open to all logistics service providers through the Skandi 360° Tenant Service.

On a global scale, Life Logistics Network has also joined the Skandi Network as a “Supporting Partner,” further expanding the capabilities and reach of this robust distribution network.

“The partnership between Pharma.Aero and Skandi Network marks a pivotal collaboration that aims to address the ever-growing demands and complexities of the pharmaceutical logistics sector. By combining resources, knowledge, and technology, both organizations are set to enhance the efficiency and reliability of life care product distribution on an unprecedented scale.” says Frank Van Gelder, Secretary General of Pharma.Aero

Pharma.Aero and Skandi Network together are committed to driving forward innovation and excellence in temperature-controlled logistics, ensuring that critical healthcare products reach patients promptly and safely.
